In a magical forest, a young child stares into the eyes of a fantastical creature and together they embark on an unforgettable journey.Since its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, The Turning Forest has been captivating audiences around the world with its award-winning spatial audio and delightful visuals. Wear headphones, and use the controller to make music with the monster’s teeth, the birds and fish, and the icicles.
The Turning Forest VR experience was created by VRTOV and BBC Research & Development’s audio team. The sound was adapted from an original soundtrack commissioned for “S3A: Future Spatial Audio for an Immersive Listener Experience at Home”, funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
1. Play it safe
When you’re playing The Turning Forest VR experience, please be sure to follow any safety info from the manufacturer and/or supplier of the device you’re using.
Also, don’t use The Turning Forest VR experience if you:
